Dai Vernon

Dai Vernon, born David Frederick Wingfield Verner on June 11, 1894, was a Canadian magician, also known as “The Professor”. Vernon was a pioneer in modern close-up magic and significantly influenced card magic. He spent most of his last years as a beloved figure at the Magic Castle, an exclusive club for magicians in Hollywood. Vernon passed away on August 21, 1992.
