James Randi

James Randi, born Randall James Hamilton Zwinge on August 7, 1928, was a Canadian-American stage magician and scientific skeptic. Known as “The Amazing Randi”, he dedicated much of his career to debunking paranormal and pseudoscientific claims. Randi was a founder of the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry (CSI), and the James Randi Educational Foundation (JREF), organizations dedicated to promoting scientific skepticism. He passed away on October 20, 2020.
